Why I love John McCain
Conservatives hate him because he’s not “conservative” enough (even though that word is meaningless). Tons of prominent right-wing jaw-flappers are declaring that they will vote for Hillary Anti-Christ if she is running against him. Liberals can’t stand him because he embraces George Bush (literally), loves the Iraq war, proudly declares that we will be there for 100 years, and sings “Bomb Bomb Iran” in public in response to a question about foreign policy. He’s deservedly getting the Bob Dole cranky old man edit. He’s only winning primaries because everyone hates the other guys more, for different reasons.
What’s not to love?
